2. Blue Trails
If you want to avoid crowds and quietly enjoy the snow-covered landscape, choosing the blue trails is definitely a wise decision. Easily traverse the snow-covered paths, feeling the solid ground beneath your feet and the natural beauty of the forest.
⛄️Tips & User Reviews
· For winter hiking, warm clothing and non-slip shoes are essential! The terrain can be slippery, and you might encounter less-traveled paths where you'll have to forge your own way (in this experience: completing this trail was like mowing the lawn!).
· If you want to make it easier, choose a section of the trail for the last kilometer to allow your feet and ankles to "relax."
· Summer offers a different kind of lush green scenery. If you want to avoid crowds and experience a more pristine environment, the blue route is highly recommended.
🍴Food and Supplies: There are no formal restaurants along the route. It's advisable to stock up on supplies at cafes in nearby towns like Limehouse or Georgetown in the morning, or bring your own hot water and snacks.
