Fasano is a hidden Italian gem that absolutely nails family fun, especially if you’re looking for an epic animal adventure 🦁. Zoosafari Fasanolandia is THE spot here—think zoo meets safari with lakes, rivers, exotic animals, and endless kid-friendly vibes. You’ll drive through the safari zone—lions, giraffes, zebras roaming free, literally inches from your car! Don’t miss the lakes and rivers—it’s not just animal watching, but also beautiful scenery that feels straight from a nature doc. Opening hours vary by season, so check before you go (May–Sept: 09:30–14:30, Oct–Nov: 10:00–14:00, Dec: 10:00–13:00, Christmas break: 10:00–14:00). Personal Tips: Zoosafari is super cool (even adults have a blast) but get there early—lines can be long, and animals are more active in the morning 🦓. Bring snacks and water for the kids, and don’t forget a camera for those up-close moments. The park is pretty stroller-friendly, and there’s space for picnics near the lakes. #travel #family #zoo #kids #FasanoSafari #ItalyWithKids #FamilyTravel #Zoosafari #ItalyFun

🌟 Nestled in the mountains of Selva di Fasano, Italy, the meticulously restored 19th-century Villa Colucci feels like stepping into a secluded estate from Alice in Wonderland, offering a delightful and whimsical vacation experience. Location: Located on a hilltop in Selva di Fasano, surrounded by 20,000 square meters of woodland, and featuring a traditional trullo, the villa exudes tranquility and natural charm. 🚗 Transportation: Approximately a 1-hour drive from Baricarol Wojtiva Airport. 🏰Hotel Highlights: · 🎨Style: The former 19th-century Colucci family palace, restored in 2022 by Danish Hay brand founders Mette Hay and Rolf Hay in collaboration with Barbara Husted Werner and Martin Werner. The original floor tiles and arched ceiling beams are preserved, while vibrant contemporary art and furniture are incorporated, creating a rich and layered color palette. · 🛋️Rooms: All 10 suites feature en-suite bathrooms, most with floor-to-ceiling windows and classic stone arches overlooking olive groves and pastoral landscapes. Some rooms connect to traditional "trullo" stone houses, offering an authentic Apulian lifestyle experience. · 🍽️Dining: Daily Italian home-style lunches and dinners are served, with the chef selecting seasonal ingredients such as local olive oil, herbs, and artisanal cheeses, paired with homemade lemon liqueur or Salento red wine. · 💦Sustainability: Solar panels on the roof and a deep underground well connected to a water source ensure self-sufficiency. · 🛁Recreation: Enjoy a private hot tub and massage chaise lounge; a mobile bar can also be booked for handcrafted cocktails. 🏰Historical Background: Originally built in the late 19th century, the Colucci aristocratic estate was once the private residence of the prominent Puglia family. It had been vacant for over 25 years when purchased. The restoration team adopted a "neither dilapidated nor brand new" approach, preserving the texture of time and allowing the "livability" to collide with art, creating a unique synergy. 📸Photo Spots (within 30 min drive): · Egnazia Ancient City Ruins, archaeological respite; · Trullo Sovrano Domed Stone Houses, fairytale-like; · Lido Ottagono Golden Beach, with its gradient sunset; · Cisternino White-walled Alleys, Mediterranean-style stroll; 📅 Opening Season: Year-round Selvadi Fisenu Fassano Hotel Name: Villa Colucci Address Information: Villa Colucci is conveniently located, easily accessible to two major airports: · Bari Airport: 1 hour drive · Brindisi Airport: 45-minute drive The nearest beach, Capitolo, is only 15 minutes from the villa, perfectly combining rural tranquility with coastal views.
