This is the old museum of Zhengzhou Museum, the new museum is located on Wenhan Street, and it is currently marked on Baidu Maps as ☞ Henan South-to-North Water Diversion Museum. The exhibition is arranged according to the flow direction of the South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project, from south to north, and it centrally displays the unearthed cultural relics from the reservoir area and the main canal along the cities of Nanyang, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, Xinxiang, Hebi, Anyang, and other 8 cities. So make sure not to get confused before you come, as it would be embarrassing to make a mistake The museum has a parking lot for visitors, but it's quite small. If you come late, it will be troublesome, as it's hard to find a parking spot nearby. To be honest, the museum's visitability is average, with outdated hardware facilities, general preciousness of cultural relics, and a small visitable area. However, it is still worth a visit for those who want to learn about the South-to-North Water Diversion Project The picture lists twenty cultural relics that I personally find more appealing. Picture 1 is a Song Dynasty 'Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon' bottle used as a wine pot. Although it is damaged, seeing the words 'snow flower' on the front still feels a bit bittersweet ; Picture 2 is a Han Dynasty pottery sheep, which should be considered one of the more exquisite cultural relics in the museum, with great shape, color, and lines ; Pictures 3-5 feature pottery figurines with distinctive characteristics, with well-crafted details. Picture 4 looks a bit like a pregnant woman ; Picture 6's pottery horse is a bit unreliable, with long legs, a small head, and a thin body, giving the impression of seriously disproportionate proportions... I won't go into detail about the others. Overall, there are not many highlights, as the exhibition is mainly focused on the South-to-North Water Diversion, and the exhibits have been 'peeled' by the provincial museum and various municipal museums.
