Yandang Mountain

Yandang Mountain is known as the 'famous mountain on the sea, the most extraordinary in the world' and 'the number one mountain in the southeast', located in Yandang Town, Yandang Road, Yueqing City, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. Yandang Mountain is divided into South Yandang Mountain and North Yandang Mountain, with the area north of the Oujiang Fault being called North Yandang and the area south being called South Yandang. The main peak is Baigangjian. Yandang Mountain's large-scale unique landscape has given poets, painters, and scholars a strong sense of beauty and inspiration. They have composed poetry and created paintings here, leaving behind a large number of works. Xie Lingyun, Guan Xiu, Shen Kuo, Xu Xiake, Kang Youwei, Zhang Daqian, Sha Menghai, Pan Tianshou, Yu Dafu, Guo Moruo, Deng Tuo, Shu Ting and others have all left behind poems and ink marks. Yandang Mountain is divided into eight major scenic areas, each named after the main attractions within them. They are: Lingfeng, Lingyan, Dalongqiu, Yanhu, Xianshengmen, Xianqiao, Yangjiaodong, and Shuangliandong Scenic Areas.
