Staying with Locals - Liming Village

Getting There - Liming village is right inside Laojun Mountain Scenic Spot and it’s got about three hundred households. I got to know a local family while I was exploring the mountains and villages there. I was in the middle of nowhere at the time and I went to ask to use their bathroom. I ended up spending the entire afternoon with the family and eventually stayed with them for the last few days of 2021. They are such kind and generous souls - despite not having much they offered me everything they had and treated me with the hospitality that I never knew here in China. On the first day of 2022, we went to the local market in Liming and bought home lots of foods and drinks.
