Yueyang Tower, a famous building in China

The masterpiece 'Memorial to Yueyang Tower' by Fan Zhongyan of the Northern Song Dynasty expresses the feelings of worry about the country and the people by traditional Chinese intellectuals, and also makes the famous building on the shore of Dongting Lake a well-known place. This kind of 'ruyi bucket arch' weight-lifting form is also very unique in the history of ancient Chinese architecture. There are also some small attractions in the Yueyang Tower Scenic Area. In the Five Dynasties building near the gate, the architectural models of Yueyang from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties are displayed; on the beach under the building, there are three iron objects weighing up to 1500 kg.
