🔅Scenic Area Overview: The Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas is currently the only 5A scenic spot in Dali City. It is located 1.5 kilometers northwest of the ancient city of Dali, facing the Cangshan Mountain to the west and the Erhai Lake to the east, about 1500 meters from the foot of the mountain. There is a peach stream flowing eastward 336 meters to the south. There is a plum stream 76 meters to the north, and the Dian-Tibet Highway is to the east. The three pagodas are composed of one large and two small. The large pagoda is called Qianxun Pagoda, which was built during the Nanzhao Quanfengyou period (AD 823～859), a 16-level square dense eave-style hollow brick pagoda, a typical Tang Dynasty architectural style, with a height of 69.13 meters. The outlines of the two small pagodas in the south and the north are conical, which are typical architectural styles of the Song Dynasty. They were built during the Dali Kingdom Duan Zhengyan and Duan Zhengxing period (AD 1108～1172). The two small pagodas are 97 meters apart, both are 42.19 meters high, and they are a pair of 10-level octagonal dense eave-style brick pagodas. It is recommended to purchase a ticket + a one-way sightseeing car ticket for a total of 90 yuan. First, enter the gate and queue up on the right to take the sightseeing car, all the way up the mountain, cross a small road to reach the front of a temple's main hall to stop (but do not get off), wait for the sightseeing car to continue to drive up the mountain after getting on and off at this station, and drive to the top of the mountain. There is a sightseeing car parking lot, you can get off here. The order of the tour is to walk down the mountain along the top of the mountain.
