For those who prefer land adventures, cycling through the countryside is a must. Rent a bike and explore the lush, green rice paddies and ancient stone bridges. The Yulong River area is particularly popular for this, providing an idyllic backdrop for a leisurely ride. Don't miss the chance to visit Moon Hill, a natural limestone arch with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The hike up can be steep, but the reward is well worth the effort. In #yangshuo, the local cuisine is a delight. Sample traditional dishes such as Beer Fish, made with fresh catch from the Li River, or indulge in a hearty bowl of Guilin Rice Noodles. The bustling West Street is the place to be for foodies, offering a variety of local and international restaurants, as well as lively bars and shops. For a truly immersive experience, consider staying in one of the many boutique guesthouses or eco-lodges scattered throughout the area. These accommodations often provide guided tours and activities, allowing you to dive deeper into the local culture and natural wonders. We stayed at the beautiful #teacozyhotel, a wonderful hotel with the best staff you could ask for. Lastly, be respectful of the local environment and customs; Yangshuo's charm lies in its unspoiled nature and rich traditions. Yangshuo is more than just a destination; it’s an experience that engages all your senses. Whether you're drifting along its rivers, hiking its mountains, or savoring its cuisine, Yangshuo promises an unforgettable journey.
