The performance in Yangshuo is a must-see, the impression of Liu Sanjie is truly awe-inspiring.

Every visit to Yangshuo has been purely for sightseeing, but this time my local bestie happened to be home and suggested that I experience their local performance, "Impression Liu Sanjie". Upon arriving at the venue, I was utterly astounded. The cast was formidable, reportedly consisting of over 600 individuals, more than half of whom are local villagers from Yangshuo. Twelve mountain peaks were illuminated by lights, and over 60 men and women from various ethnic minorities danced on the Li River, brandishing torches and singing folk songs in a call-and-response manner. We had front-row seats, allowing us to see the actors' faces up close. When I heard the line "Waiting on the Bridge of Regret for three years", we were all so moved that we couldn't help but shed tears. Who could understand! I recommend visiting the Liu Sanjie Cultural Impression Museum before the performance. Here, you can learn about the story of Liu Sanjie and the rich folk culture of Guangxi. The museum has seven exhibition halls, making it an ideal place for family outings. My bestie brought her little one along, and we had a delightful time making handmade paper embroidered balls. The child had a blast! It's a wonderful opportunity for children to experience the profound cultural heritage of ethnic minorities. Hands-on learning provides a more immersive understanding! If asked which performance in Yangshuo is the most worthwhile, I would unhesitatingly recommend "Impression Liu Sanjie". It's absolutely worth a visit!
