｜Taipei. Xinzhuang｜ A long-time entry on my list, 'Hezhi' is located in the alleys of the traditional market in Xinzhuang. Despite its small space, it exudes a serene and warm atmosphere. The daily desserts vary and are listed on the blackboard at the counter. On that day, I chose the #StrawberryPuff. Though not large in size, the puff's outer shell is a slightly sweet, crispy pastry filled with plenty of strawberries and custard—a simple yet classic perfect combination that I absolutely loved. The caramelized brown sugar on the rim of the cup adds a fragrant crunch without being overly sweet.
