The most beautiful sunrise is with a sea of clouds, so ideally there should be a light rain the day before and clear skies the next day. However, please note that the mountain road can be slippery during rainy days, so be careful!🚶‍♂ You'll need to set off around 4am! You can drive yourself or book a Didi in advance, as it might be difficult to get a taxi on the spot. You can drive to the foot of the mountain and then walk for about 30 minutes to reach the summit, so you don't have to climb too high! Don't forget to bring clothes in advance, as it's quite chilly on the mountain. Also bring a flashlight, as there are no lights on the mountain path!🕯 The Yutiantai at the summit is a fantastic viewing platform! The view is incredibly expansive, and you can bring your tea-making equipment to enjoy a cup of tea while watching the sunrise - it's pure bliss!🍵 After watching the sunrise, you can go to Baiyun Zen Temple for a free breakfast. After your meal, you can make a donation as you wish, a symbolic amount is fine.
