The predecessor of Wuhan Jiefang Park was the Xishang Racecourse, and it was converted into a park in 1952. It was built and opened at the sixth anniversary of Wuhan's liberation, hence the name Liberation Park. It is located in the center of Hankou, in the prosperous Wuhan Tiandi business district. The entire park covers an area of 46 hectares. The park has trees and grass, pavilions and pavilions, and small bridges and waters. There is also a unique "Chinese Famous Tower Garden" in the park, which re-enacts miniature models of more than 50 famous towers across the country, each of which is unique and worthy of a look.
