The former residence of Li Zongren is one of the two best-preserved celebrity former residences in Guilin city, later known as Guilin's 'Presidential Palace,' featuring a combination of Chinese and Western villa-style architecture. Tips: 1. Fir Lake is not large; it takes about 30 minutes to walk around. 2. Fir Lake is very close to Elephant Trunk Hill Park; coming out of Gate 2 of Elephant Trunk Hill and walking 200 meters across the road will take you to the lakeside of Fir Lake, so you can combine day and night tours together.
