The National Museum of New Zealand is the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere, with a rich collection of Maori culture, and the War Pavilion is impressed by its authenticity. And its most prestigious is its interactivity, known as the most interactive museum in the world. There are a lot of interesting projects waiting for visitors to participate. Through interaction, let children know more about nature and understand the world! Bring children here on New Year's Day holiday, there is an unknown magical world waiting for them to open!
Whirlwind Wellington Trip
Had a quick trip to Wellington, New Zealand and fit in a quick visit to the Wharf and to the Gallipoli exhibition at the Te Papa Museum! It was gorgeous and truly lives up to New Zealand’s promise that everywhere you look is a postcard-worthy moment. Can’t wait to go back and perhaps spend a longer time there but perhaps in the summer when the weather is warmer! Wellington is not known as the windy city for nothing!#newzealand #Museum #wellington #Water

SO MANY OPTIONS AT WELLINGTON AIRPORT!!
There are great little shops upstairs of the Wellington airport for you to choose from clothes to suitcases to food, even a little convenience store!! As I live in the Pacific, I was so excited about the many vending machines that have such a nice range of snacks and drinks.

I always love a trip on a cable car and the Wellington funicular was a great way to get up to the Gardens. It's only a short, five minute journey and is very reasonably priced. The views from the top are stunning so it's well worth the trip. #wintergetaway

Wellington Botanic Garden: A Journey of Natural Beauty
In Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, there is a place that is pleasing to the mind - Wellington Botanic Garden. As a guide who has guided tourists to visit this green treasure many times, I know that every corner here exudes unique charm.
Wellington Botanic Garden covers 25 hectares of land and is located in the heart of the city. From the busy city center, you can easily reach the park by taking the Wellington Cable Car, and this journey itself is an unforgettable experience. As soon as you step into the botanical garden, the hustle and bustle of the city seems to be far away, replaced by the tranquility and harmony of nature.
There is a diverse plant ecology here, from native silver ferns to exotic flowers, a variety of plant species together constitute a vivid natural scroll. In spring, the tulips in the garden are in full bloom, colorful; in summer, the flowers in the rose garden are blooming, exuding a charming fragrance; in autumn, the color change of the leaves adds a golden coat to the garden; in winter, although there are fewer plants, the tranquility and purity of the park become the protagonist.
Wellington Botanic Garden is not only a paradise for plants, but also an ideal place for leisure and education. There are children's playgrounds, historical sites, art sculptures, and a visitor center that offers various educational activities. Walking in the park, you can see a variety of birds and insects, and find inner peace in nature.
For photography enthusiasts, the botanical garden is a paradise for shooting. Whether it's grand landscapes or small plant details, they are all excellent materials for photography. Every time I lead tourists here, I can find different photography angles and creative inspirations.
In the busy journey, Wellington Botanic Garden provides an excellent place to relax and recharge. Whether it's with family or alone, it's the ideal place to explore the beauty of nature and experience inner peace. Each visit can give people a deeper understanding and perception of the beauty and power of nature.
Putangirua Pinnacles Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Amazing rock formations you need to see!
If you're a huge fan of lord of the rings, you would recognize this place as the setting for the "Paths of the dead" scene in Return of the King!
This is a MUST VISIT for anyone travelling to the North Island of New Zealand! The rock formation is just out of the world and unreal, looking like a place I've only seen in movies. A truly spectacular ancient rock formation, perfect for photographers to photograph.
The walking trails are also properly maintained, allowing visitors to walk the route with ease.
Getting here: The nearest city is Martinborough.
From the nearest carpark, allow at least 2 hours to return, and remember to take lots of water with you! Its quite a simple hike to reach the main vantage point of the Pinnacle but it's always good to be well prepared!
