In the Jin Dynasty, literati and poets left poems and inscriptions on the stone walls of Dongshan Ridge, forming a group of cliff carvings. Since the Tang Dynasty, temples have been built in Dongshan Ridge. In the 7th year of Tianbao (748 AD), the monk Jianzhen failed to cross to Japan for the fifth time and drifted to Hainan. Jianzhen led his disciples to Dongshan Ridge to preach. - Dongfang Fish Scale Island My parents took a train and a taxi there. I think it's the Yantai Mountain of Dongfang. In the 7th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1494 AD), Zhang Yi, the commander of Hainan, accidentally discovered this stone mountain. The unique geographical location excited Zhang Yi. He immediately set up a military fort on Fish Scale Island and sent 60 soldiers to guard it to defend against Japanese pirates. Fish Scale Island has long been famous and was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Hainan in the 40th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1701 AD). Tang Zhiying of the Qing Dynasty once wrote a poem: "The fish scales are high and connected to the clouds, and the view from the top is different. The strange stones are endless, and the peaks are connected. The spring is as clear as a well, and the waves are about to fall. Where can I find the three mountains on the sea? This is the place of immortals." The "spring" in the poem refers to a magical stone well on Fish Scale Island. According to folklore, the well has been full of sweet spring water for hundreds of years. Dongfang is not a big city, with a sea view and a Wanda Plaza.
