The mountain city of Užice, Serbia

♻️♻️ Užice, the capital of Zlatibor District, is a mountain city in Serbia. It was once the birthplace of one of the shortest-lived republics in history, which existed for only 67 days before being destroyed (even shorter than Yuan Shikai's Empire of China by over a month). This was the Republic of Užice, established by Tito and his team.👨‍✈️👨‍✈️👨‍✈️ ✅✅ The towering old city castle, which dates back to the Nemanjić dynasty, has an unknown builder. The top of the castle is the best viewpoint overlooking the entire city of Užice.🏰🏰🏰 ♻️♻️ The Đetinja River, which flows beneath the castle, is interpreted in Serbian as 'River of Children'. Legend has it that during the Ottoman Empire's occupation of Užice, all the children in the city were forcibly conscripted into hard labor.
