A Short Trip to Mori Art Museum in Roppongi

On the day I visited the Louise Bourgeois exhibition, I was able to experience her deep emotions and psychological themes. The exhibited works depicted much of her personal history and family relationships, especially with her mother, leaving a strong impression on the viewers. Particularly striking was the large spider sculpture 'Maman'. Its gigantic and delicate form simultaneously evoked the love and fear associated with motherhood, leaving me standing in awe before it for a while. Additionally, the diverse techniques she used, such as textiles and prints, further highlighted the complexity of emotions. Through the exhibition, I realized how deeply Louise Bourgeois confronted her inner self and sublimated it into art. It was an exhibition that left a deep message in the art and remained in my heart. After that, I enjoyed a casual izakaya meal🏮 It was a heartwarming short trip♪
