Even if it's beyond your budget, it's delightful to browse. Among the luxury designer brands, you can also find charming boutiques and famous Japanese brands like MUJI. Even if you're not shopping, strolling around and people-watching is incredible. The stunning retail experience, high-end brands, and the sheer number of people are amazing.
I believe no one should visit Tokyo without seeing Ginza. Here, I can truly savor the essence of this vibrant city and happily spend endless hours discovering its treasures.
Mysterious Night: Tokyo Speak Easy Bar Tour
In the early 20th century America, Prohibition gave rise to Speak Easy bars, secret places that became havens for people seeking relaxation and social interaction. Today, Tokyo retains this sense of mystery with gems like JANAI COFFEE and A10. These bars are not just places to drink; they are time tunnels that transport me between the past and the present, allowing me to experience a unique atmosphere.
During the day, JANAI COFFEE is a busy takeaway coffee shop, but at night it quietly transforms into a hidden bar. Through a side door of the takeaway shop, I stepped into this unknown nightlife sanctuary. The decor exudes Japanese elegance, allowing me to find a touch of tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Every sip of coffee or cocktail is filled with care, as if telling me the story of the night.
A10, on the other hand, is known for its unique entrance. I needed to go through an inconspicuous locker, which gave me a sense of adventure. Upon entering the space, the warmth of a hot towel immediately soothed me, and the meticulous service made me feel especially cared for. The bartenders on the menu always bring surprises, creating unique cocktails that make me look forward to new taste adventures with each visit.
Whether it's the tranquility of JANAI COFFEE or the mystery of A10, these two bars showcase their attention to detail in every aspect. Choosing either one will undoubtedly give me a unique and unforgettable night, making me love every corner of this city even more.

✔️ Finally, I don't have to hesitate to take a taxi; taxis here are really expensive. It cost nearly 500 RMB to take a taxi from Haneda Airport to the Akasaka hotel. However, Japan's subway and bus systems are very developed, and you can get to where you want to go using public transportation.
✔️ Finally, I can eat watermelon and other fruits in big bites. Fruits here are quite expensive, displayed very delicately, and taste very good. Back home, I will eat fruits to my heart's content.
✔️ Finally, I can walk on the street while drinking coffee and eating. In Japan, you don't see people eating on the streets, and even in shopping malls, you have to eat in designated areas. Once, we bought egg tarts and couldn't find a place to eat them all the way. We took them to a restaurant for lunch, thinking we could finally eat them, but the waiter told us we couldn't eat outside food.
Of course, the service industry in Japan is really great, the restrooms are incredibly clean, everyone follows the rules, and everything is done with great care. It's worth coming to visit, to learn from their strengths and use them to our advantage.
In the next few days after returning home, I will definitely go for some hot pot

Yes, as this named Sakura Street, located near Shibuya station you will see a sea of Sakura flower on the street and also witnessing the beauty of Sakura trees pouring down its flower. I could only spending hours just for this Sakura, i feel sick blessed that I can see Sakura my own so that I can tell the world that Sakura is one thing you must see at least once in your entire life! 🥹
It was not only Sakura street satisfied me. I move myself to another mesmerizing spot, Meguro River which located not so far from Shibuya. Again, it is all about Sakura flower as I am a huge fan of this. Here, you can do a canal ride or even just relaxing your self and breathe fresh air by the river with full of Sakura flower. Tokyo - The Most Picturesque Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots
Last year's most unforgettable trip was at the end of March to Tokyo. Due to the warming weather, the cherry blossoms bloomed earlier than usual, and we were lucky enough to catch the streets of Tokyo in full bloom.
The early blooming cherry blossoms filled the streets with smiling faces of tourists. This year, the cherry blossoms in Tokyo bloomed a week earlier than usual. On the first day of the Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival, the cherry blossoms were already in full bloom, and many petals had already fallen on the river. We originally thought we would only see a few cherry blossoms in bud, but we were fortunate to catch them in full bloom.
Coincidentally, Tokyo had been cloudy recently, and the Chidorigafuchi boat rental was closed all day due to the weather the day before. We anxiously checked the official Twitter for updates, and woke up to find the sun shining, feeling relieved. Although it wasn't completely cloudless, we were able to go boating with a bit of sunshine, surrounded by the early blooming cherry blossoms along the moat. This trip was truly filled with the luck that every traveler hopes for.
Exploring Tokyo under the Cherry Blossoms on the Toden Arakawa Line
This time, I recommend a journey along the Toden Arakawa Line to explore the old Tokyo. With Tokyo's rapid development, streetcars that occupied road space were gradually phased out. Today, the Toden Arakawa Line is one of the few remaining streetcars in Tokyo. Japanese writer Haruki Murakami described the Arakawa Line in his work 'Norwegian Wood': 'The streetcar runs close to the eaves of houses, with ten tomato pots lined up on one house's balcony, and a big black cat sunbathing nearby. You can see children blowing soap bubbles in the yard, hear Ishida Ayumi's songs from somewhere, and even smell the aroma of coffee.' These sentences vividly depict the flavor of old Tokyo along the Arakawa Line. After purchasing a one-day pass for the Toden Arakawa Line, we start from Waseda University and head to Omokagebashi Station to admire the cherry blossoms along the Kanda River from the bridge. Next, we head to Asukayama Station and visit Asukayama Park to enjoy a traditional Japanese fair under the cherry blossoms. After selecting delicious food from the food stalls, you can stand under the cherry blossoms and enjoy the song and dance performances. Additionally, from the elevated position in Asukayama Park, you can also see the Toden Arakawa Line trains, creating a picturesque scene of cherry blossoms and streetcars together.

In this life, at least dozens of concerts and music festivals, the Times Tour is definitely the top 1 in the whole field.
Obviously, I spent money to watch the concert, but there is a feeling of being treated with heart and wanting to cry.
Taylor sang and danced for more than 3 hours, and it took almost only 1-2 minutes to change clothes. Every time she wanted to sit down and want to slow down, she re-appeared. She was first-class and full of input (the dance skills were average, but she worked hard.
I also want to praise the stage, lighting and photography of the times tour, the beauty, the change of position and perspective, aesthetics and technology are all top-level, and I will definitely take out the type to revisit.

📍 Nintendo Flagship Store at Parco. In fact, there are so many cool stores at Parco. Nintendo just happens to be extra special and has so much incredible merchandise!
📍 Hachiko Statue ~ honouring the most loyal dog in Japan, who waited for his owner to come back for nine years. It can get pretty crowded here and people will line up for a photo.
📍 Miyashita Park was previously a public park but has been transformed into a three storey mall with vibey shops, restaurants and cafes. On the rooftop you can find a starbucks and skate park. It’s a nice place to hang out!

For those visiting Tokyo Disneyland, there are four special attractions unique to this park: Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, Pooh’s Hunny Hunt, Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek, and The Happy Ride with Baymax. The must-try attraction is the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, the newest ride at Tokyo Disneyland, based on the classic Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, known in Thai as ‘โฉมงามกับเจ้าชายอสูร’. This ride is considered one of the most fun attractions in the park.

This shrine is located at the hilltop with a unique way of accessing it. There were multiple escalators connecting to the top. The view from the escalator was amazing. Enter through the Hie shrine sanno torii which is where the escalators are. We also tried the other entrance on the other side, the other one consists of many stairs. There are also many interesting installations in the area. One of them resembles Fushimi Inari in Kytoto. The Tori gate is very popular. There was a queue of people waiting to take photos. There was even a photo shoot going on.

"I recently returned from a 10-day trip to Tokyo, and I'm still reeling from the experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The city's neon-lit streets, bustling markets, and ancient temples made me feel like I was in a different world.
My trip began with a flight from Singapore to Narita International Airport, which cost me around $400. After arriving, I took a train to my hotel in Shinjuku, which cost around $20.
For the next few days, I explored the city using the efficient public transportation system, which cost around $2 per ride. Here are some of the top places I visited:
- Tokyo Skytree: $20 entrance fee
- Meiji Shrine: free entrance, but donations welcome
- Tsukiji Fish Market: free entrance, but sushi-making experience cost $50
- Asakusa Temple: free entrance, but Nakamise shopping street was a must-visit
- Akihabara: free entrance, but electronic shops and anime culture were a must-experience
- Shibuya Crossing: free entrance, but people-watching was priceless
I also took a day trip to Nikko, which cost around $100 for a return train ticket.
The food in Tokyo was incredible, and I had some of the best meals of my life. A sushi dinner at a high-end restaurant cost around $50, while a ramen lunch at a local shop cost around $10.
Here's a breakdown of my expenses:

Keio Presso Inn Otemachi: Affordable Business Hotel Near Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi in Tokyo, Japan
The Keio Presso Inn Otemachi, part of the Keio Group, is a budget-friendly business hotel. Despite its central location, it offers a quiet environment. It is conveniently situated between Mitsukoshi Station, Otemachi, and Kanda Station, all within a 10-minute walk via subway or JR. There's also a convenience store right across the street from the hotel.
The hotel's location is excellent. Heading towards Kanda Station, you'll find many izakayas, and further down is Akihabara. In the direction of Mitsukoshi Station and Otemachi, there are numerous department stores, making it a great spot for shopping.
The prices are reasonable, with a one-night stay during the New Year period costing around $3000. The room size is approximately 3.5 tsubo, which is quite sufficient for one person, although the bathroom lighting is a bit dim.
During my stay over the New Year, the hotel thoughtfully provided tempura soba noodles, Mount Fuji mineral water, and a small card, which was very heartwarming. After checking out, you can also store your luggage by yourself, which is very convenient.
Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole: Conveniently Located with Great Amenities
Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole, located in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, offers excellent value for money and boasts a prime location directly facing the Tokyo Skytree. The hotel is conveniently situated right at the subway exit, with a Life supermarket on the ground floor, making it extremely convenient for daily needs. In terms of transportation, the hotel is served by the Hanzomon and Toei Asakusa subway lines, providing direct access to the city center. Additionally, there is a Sky Access direct train to the airport.
The hotel rooms are relatively spacious by Tokyo standards, measuring approximately 20-23 square meters, and are reasonably priced, offering good overall quality and value. The restaurant, located on the fifth floor, offers a diverse menu, including delicacies like mentaiko and freshly baked apple pie. I stayed for four nights and had breakfast there every day, with the menu changing daily, showing great attention to detail.
The hotel features unique room types such as bath rooms, gaming rooms, theater rooms, and library rooms. Even the lounge area is beautifully decorated, and there is a paid co-working space on the second floor with unlimited coffee, drinks, and snacks, making it very accommodating for business travelers.

Shibuya Sky, located at the top of the Shibuya Scramble Square building, offers breathtaking 360° city views of Tokyo. We booked a ticket for 4.30pm slot so that we get the sunset view of the city from the rooftop. There is also an indoor observation on the 46F.
There is quite a bit of crowd and some photo spots required to queue for 1hr+ for photos. Recommended to come slightly earlier so that you can get the sunset photos as well as admire the sun setting amidst the buildings.

Hakata Ramen Ichiban: A Mountain of Bean Sprouts in Tokyo
In Ueno Okachimachi, there are two popular ramen shops with long lines: Kamo to Negi and Hakata Ramen Ichiban from Kyushu. Hakata Ramen Ichiban is famous for its rich and creamy Hakata tonkotsu broth. The highlight is the mountain of bean sprouts piled high, topped with special sauce and thin slices of chashu pork. It almost looks like a salad!
Usually, people choose Hakata Ramen Ichiban when they don't want to wait in the long line at Kamo to Negi, known for its delicious soy sauce broth. At Ichiban, you can choose the amount of bean sprouts. Even the regular portion is so large that it needs a separate plate, and the large portion is truly a sight to behold!
The noodles are medium-thin and pair well with the tonkotsu broth. The chashu pork is thinly sliced. Overall, it's a solid choice, especially for those looking to enjoy a generous serving of bean sprouts.
