Is it dangerous to take a night walk in downtown Singapore?

Night walk route covering Merlion Park near Fullerton Hotel around Clarke Quay Atmosphere/Facilities: As expected in Singapore, the security seems to be good. There are many people near restaurants and bars even at midnight or 1 AM. The park is empty, but it didn't feel scary. I arrived late due to an evening flight, but it turned out to be a good thing.
