Hidden Garden Discovery

The educational garden is located within the Shangri la Singapore hotel plot of land. It is just beside the splash area where children and adults indulge in the pool splash. There are more than ten kinds of crops that I have seen. Vegetables such as the long beans, brinjal, cucumber, lemon, can be seen there. This is the first time that the children see how the vegetables were formed, as well as the stages. For instance, the cucumber has both male and female flowers. You can see that bees and butterflies help to pollinate the female flower so that the vegetable fruit will develop into a bigger harvest. There are information there that describes the plants too.
