The museum has a building area of 10,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 5,640 square meters. It is divided into a main museum and five branches, covering the general history of journalism and publishing, printing technology, children's publishing, art design, digital publishing, audio-visual publishing, etc. The six exhibition halls display a total of 766 items/sets of various exhibits since the late Qing Dynasty, including books, periodicals, newspapers, records, celebrity manuscripts, file archives, production tools, etc. The exhibition methods in the venue are diverse, using the latest display methods such as 3D Mapping and Naked Eye 3D. Using the latest digital technology, the images of the grottoes are collected, restored, and printed, and the spectacular scene of the Kizil Grottoes is simulated in real scenes. The treasure of the museum is the first record of the March of the Volunteers. Parking is very convenient, just park in the Xuhui Mall, walk 110 meters to the first floor, and the mall parking is 7 yuan per hour. The No. 1 exit of Longchang Road Station on Metro Line 12 is about 680 meters on foot. Because it is a new museum, the explainer only needs a deposit of 200 yuan, no rental fee.
