Chimney Top Trail - Smoky National Park

Chimney Tops is a mountain in the central Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. It is 4,724 feet above sea level. Chimney Tops is a double-capstone knob on the eastern slope of the Sugarland Mountain massif, which stretches north-south across the north-central section of the Smokies. Total length of hike is 2.5 miles but due to fire on top of Chimney Tops some part of the trail has been closed. Now it left with 1.8 mile hike. It’s a normal level hike and takes around 3 hrs in round trip. There were many fountains on the way and the trail is extremely beautiful in rain. Trail is marked nicely and clean. It’s full of greenery and looks amazing. Viewing platform has nice view. Take sufficient water and energy bars when you start hiking. #hike #trail #chimneytops #smokymountain #usa #travel #national
