A must stay! New Fairmont Sanya

We decided to book the newly refurbished Fairmont on Haitang Bay. We couldn’t have been more delighted! Even Before we arrived, the hotel had arranged for some special drinks that I requested. On arrival, we were taken straight to our room and had check in there! it’s was great to not do this at reception. We had a great greeting from all the staff and it really gave us a personalised feeling. One thing that separates this hotel is it’s staff! well trained and super friendly, efficient and professional. Everyday it seemed like they just wanted to make our experience superb. The facilities are very good with an excellent gold lounge which serves afternoon tea, happy hour 5/7 (food and drinks), and a quieter breakfast area. the main breakfast area has lots of different seating both inside and out. The lobby bar is great for an evening drink with live music. There is a small gym and kids play area and clubs. The pool is a good size and has kids section, we asked to move some sun beds to avoid the busier parts of the pool and the staff were super helpful. We requested sun beds for the beach too. The beach is a very short walk down a grassed area which has sun loungers too. The view from the beach is amazing and the water is so warm and clear! The rooms are great with a lovely bath outside which they will run for you whilst you are out at dinner! it was amazing to come back to the room and sit outside in the bath relaxing! One of the reasons we will go back is because if we had a small issue or wanted something special, they went out of their way to do it. A great holiday, we spent 22 nights here and are booking again for next year! A true Fairmont experience!
