A Day Trip to Reading City Centre@Spring Tour of the UK

During a spring tour of the UK, we came to Reading for a day trip, which is about an hour and a half away from London by train, making the commute quite convenient by train; 🚞 On that particular Friday, we visited a local Hong Kong-style tea restaurant. Since the restaurant had not yet opened when we arrived, we took a stroll in the nearby Thames Parks @ Reading, and when the time came, we returned to the restaurant located on a boat. The interior of the restaurant featured British-style decor paired with Hong Kong-style meals, offering a unique flavor! I believe the Hong Kong cuisine here also comforts the souls of many local Hongkongers; 😍 After the meal, we took a walk around the city center to appreciate the British architecture, then headed to the nearby shopping center The Oracle to satisfy our shopping desires, ending a wonderful day. 💯 *I often use Trip.com as my preferred travel platform for booking travel products.
