The spring breeze brings warmth to Lianghekou

Located on the southwest side of Chengdu, Lianghekou, situated in the Mourli community of Yang'an Street in Qionglai, lies at the confluence of the Danna River and the Pujiang River. It is a riverside village where most villagers live along the river. Stretching over 4 kilometers, the riverbanks are terraced with fields of rapeseed flowers, large and small, covering thousands of acres. Visiting this season, warmed by the spring breeze and with flowers blooming in unison, Lianghekou turns into a golden sea of rapeseed blossoms. From the water's edge to the slope banks and up to the dams, the rapeseed flowers are layered and undulating, like a golden cloak on the shoulders of 'Lianghekou', with green bamboo and villages interspersed, resembling green sailboats embroidered on the cloak. Along the riverbank is the road from Xinjin to Pujiang, and not far from the road is the continuous Changqiu mountain range, with the Chengya Expressway winding through the mountains. Navigation location: Lianghekou (over an hour's drive from Chengdu). Parking: Parking is tight during the flower season, it is recommended to park outside and walk in. Dining: There are plenty of snack bars and restaurants here, but the taste is very average. It's best to bring a meal prepared in advance, lay out a picnic mat on the grass by the river, and even bring a barbecue grill and various ingredients for an open-air BBQ by the river while enjoying the flowers and the sun.
