The largest wooden castle in the world!
Situated in Pattaya, Thailand is The Sanctuary of truth museum. It is still under construction since 1981. Everything is hand crafted and reflects the philosophy of life.
Something amazing to experience is how the vision of the original artist is being carried forward and continued after his passing in the year 2000.
What I enjoyed most about the museum is the sculptures and statues draws inspiration from various cultures around the world.
🚌To get there from Pattaya city, it is a quick 15 min ride from Terminal 21 either by taxi or by motorbike.
🎟️The entrance fee is 500 baht
The duration of the guided tour is 45 min to one hour, after you can roam freely on the grounds until closing time.

Location: About three minutes' walk from Terminal 21.
There are 7-11 downstairs, and there are also some snack stalls nearby, which are quite convenient.
Breakfast: There are many kinds of Chinese and Western dishes. After eating for two days, the hot dishes have changed a little. Youming can cook noodles. Muesli is delicious, and there are not many choices for cheese. It can be regarded as a five-star breakfast.
Infrastructure: Newly opened in 2024, and the hardware is very new. But one of the sinks we ordered has a breakdown, and it should be quite easy to occur, because when I called the front desk, she immediately asked me if the water could not flow down. It seems that this is not the first time that this problem has occurred. The room I booked has a bathtub. The twin bed is not big, it seems to be only 1.1m, and the big bed is 2m*2m. There is shampoo and shower gel, no comb.
There is a control panel in the house, and you can choose Chinese. The air conditioner is not cold enough for me, and the fixed minimum is only 22 degrees. If you turn it on the loudest, the sound is a little loud. The swimming pool is on the 24th floor. It's not too big. It's enough to soak in water, and it's facing the sunset. It's very beautiful.
Service attitude: check-in on the seventh floor. There are welcome drinks. The front desk is fluent in English.
A deposit of 1000 baht is required to stay in a room, and it will be refunded when you check out.
Cost performance: 620/night (including breakfast). I originally booked a luna room, but it was upgraded to a honeymoon suite for free, so the cost performance is full. However, if you check in again, you can book the most ordinary room type.

Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, and Pattaya, a popular beach resort city, are two of the most visited destinations in the country. So we were trying to explore these vibrant cities!
1⃣️🌞Bangkok, the "City of Angels," is a bustling metropolis that seamlessly blends traditional Thai culture with modernity. The city is famous for its ornate temples, vibrant street markets, and bustling nightlife. One of the must-visit attractions is the Grand Palace, a stunning complex that houses the revered Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
Apart from its cultural heritage, Bangkok is also a shopping paradise. From luxury malls like Siam Paragon and CentralWorld to bustling street markets like Chatuchak Weekend Market, visitors can find everything from designer brands to local handicrafts.
2⃣️ Pattaya Beach, the main beach in the city, offers a range of water sports activities, including jet skiing and parasailing. For a more tranquil beach experience, visitors can head to Jomtien Beach, located a few kilometers south of Pattaya.🤩
Whether you are seeking historical landmarks, shopping opportunities, or simply relaxing on the beach, these two cities have something for everyone.
Life at a Paradise on Earth Accommodation
Stepping out from the room onto the terrace, you can dive straight into the refreshing pool💦💦. The area around the pool is filled with beautiful landscaping, allowing you to feel relaxed throughout your time at this Pattaya accommodation. Although the foliage is lush, it is always well-maintained, making it hard to find any leaves in the pool🙂🙂. It was a dream-like stay❤️.

Must visit in Pattaya: Santuary of Truth
My visit to the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya was truly mesmerizing. The intricate statues and elaborate building structures left me in awe. Watching the skilled staff doing woodwork was fascinating, providing a glimpse into the craftsmanship behind the sanctuary. I was particularly impressed by how the structures were built and held together without nails, showcasing an ancient building technique. The peaceful atmosphere added to the experience, making it a serene and enlightening visit.

The Sanctuary Koh Phangan
My stay at The Sanctuary Koh Phangan was a perfect retreat and experience. The resort is located on the picturesque island of Koh Phangan, offering a quiet and relaxing environment. I enjoyed staying in a private villa overlooking the lush green sea and pristine sandy beaches. I benefited from the relaxation and wellness experiences at the resort's spa and swimming pool. The Sanctuary is distinguished by its gourmet restaurant that offers healthy cuisine and delicious flavors. I explored the island's enchanting landscapes and participated in exciting water activities such as diving and kayaking. My stay at The Sanctuary Koh Phangan was a rejuvenating experience for both the soul and body.
Grande Centre Point Space
When it comes to family-friendly beach resorts in Pattaya, Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya is a top choice. This resort features a large water park that will make anyone go 'wow' with its unique and beautiful space-themed design. Besides the water park, the resort offers modern, clean, and comfortable spa and onsen services. The multiple hot spring baths provide a panoramic view of the sea, allowing you to relax both your body and mind.
You must visit the Glass Sea when you go to Pattaya, the sunset and the sea there are truly spectacular
Going to Pattaya, you must see the Glass Sea from above
The seamless beauty of the sea and sky, all in one view. Here's a free travel guide ↓
1️⃣ Take a bus from Bangkok to Pattaya
2️⃣ You can choose a hotel near Pattaya Walking Street
(It's better to be a few streets away from the red-light district, it gets a bit overwhelming at night when it's in full swing)
3️⃣ Take a taxi to Pattaya pier and find any speedboat to Koh Larn. The pier is where we found the best Chinese-speaking locals in Pattaya, so don't worry. You might wait about 15min for the speedboat, and once it's full, it takes off. It's a 20min ride to Koh Larn.
4️⃣ No entrance fee is required for Koh Larn. The pier we arrived at didn't have a beach nearby, so you need a motorbike/tuk-tuk to get to the beach. Upon arrival, various people will approach you offering tour packages and transportation, just choose what you need.
Since I've done most water activities many times except for parasailing, this time I just wanted to try parasailing. Bargained down to 800 Thai Baht including a motorbike ride to the beach.
5️⃣ Parasailing guide
I suggest bringing a phone. After boarding, the guy will ask if you want photos and videos taken with your phone for 100 Thai Baht. Without a phone, it costs 200 Thai Baht. The guy will gather a speedboat's worth of people, then take us to a small pier. Our boat had 8 people, all Chinese, the highest concentration of Chinese tourists I've experienced in Thailand. The speedboat ride is thrilling, you feel like you're going to fly out at any minute 😅 When they seriously make us put on life jackets and collect our phones and sunglasses, I knew something was off.
The process is to fly one by one, each person for about 2 minutes. You fly high and the view is really good. It's quite a rush when you first take off and aren't seated securely, but then it's not scary anymore. It's very comfortable flying in the sky.
6️⃣ After playing, you can go to the beach. We went to two beaches, one was very crowded and commercialized, but the sea was very blue, clear, and the sand was fine and soft. The other had fewer people, mostly Westerners, no commercial vibe, just shops and beach chairs. The water was just as clear, the sand not as fine, but there were lots of fish in the sea.
A classic resort in Pattaya
When talking about legendary resorts in Pattaya, Royal Cliff must be at the top of the list. It is one of the first luxury resorts situated on a hill with a 180-degree sea view, offering a panoramic view of the ocean. The resort boasts numerous facilities, especially the newly renovated swimming pool area, with long glass walls and floors that give a floating sensation. The expansive area includes three high-rise buildings and a large conference room.

During the trip, we a speedboat from Bali Hai Pier to Koh Larn.
We really enjoyed the activities like snorkeling, swimming around. We visited different beaches like Tawaen Beach, Samae Beach, and Tien Beach. We then returned to Pattaya in the late afternoon.
On our last day, we were basically relaxing at your hotel and do some last-minute shopping. Overall, I love the trip so much, especially the food 🥘 Would definitely come back again 😍😍😍

Pattaya Beach
Pattaya Beach is a vibrant and lively destination that I recently had the pleasure of experiencing. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the energetic atmosphere and the stunning views of the crystal-clear waters.
I had a fantastic time at Pattaya Beach, engaging in various activities and soaking up the sun on the golden sands. The range of water sports available provided endless entertainment, and I particularly enjoyed trying out jet skiing and parasailing. The bustling beachfront was lined with shops, restaurants, and bars, adding to the lively ambiance of the area.
I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience at Pattaya Beach. The combination of fun-filled activities, picturesque scenery, and vibrant surroundings made my visit truly memorable. The warm hospitality of the locals and the diverse culinary offerings further enhanced my overall satisfaction.
Without a doubt, I am already looking forward to my next visit to Pattaya Beach. The allure of this captivating destination, coupled with the countless opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation, makes it a place I will definitely return to in the future. Pattaya Beach has left a lasting impression on me, and I cannot wait to create more unforgettable memories during my next trip there.
MOST IG-WORTHY cafe in Pattaya
This mermaid-themed cafe is super pretty with many photo-taking spots and magnificent stunning sea view. Best to come here for sunset view and remember to make a reservation for the best seats! I reserved the sofa + net seat which requires a deposit of 1000baht (can be used for your meals anyways) and it gives me front view of the sunset. The live band starts in the evening and gives great vibes! Highly recommended! #thailandtrip
Pattaya, Thailand - These three hotels are perfect for family travel, making kids happy to the max!
For those in Bangkok who want a convenient and quick trip to the beach, Pattaya is a great vacation destination - just a two-hour drive away. As a seaside resort city, Pattaya's beaches are very public and accessible, allowing anyone to easily enjoy the beach, especially when taking a taxi or songthaew to Pattaya Beach Road, where to the right, there's an endless view of beaches and coconut trees, and to the left, countless bars, restaurants, and hotels. Today, I'm sharing three hotels that are very suitable for family trips with kids!
👍Highly recommended:
Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa Average price 800-1500, the environment, service, landscape, and hygiene are all quite good. The Renaissance Pattaya Resort is about ten kilometers from the center of Pattaya - perfect for a seaside holiday vibe! The hotel's design incorporates local fishing village charm, exuding artistry from the outside in. With the hotel facing the sea, under the blue sky and white clouds, the pool, sea, and sky blend seamlessly; and during sunset, the caramel-colored sunlight, together with the hotel's scenery, forms unforgettable beautiful vistas. In the evening, you can dive into the hotel's stunning infinity pool, which has two levels of infinity pools, super cool! The seaside restaurant and bar are also incredibly beautiful - and the hotel also has family suites with direct pool access! Even better, the Renaissance also offers double tickets to the Columbia Pictures Aquaverse - Pattaya's Columbia Pictures Aquaverse is the world's first Sony-themed water park that opened in October 2022, with eight major movie-themed areas, very close to the Renaissance! This brand-new water world not only has a water park but also allows you to watch movies, music videos, and dance, with occasional live shows, suitable for all ages. When in Pattaya, it's highly recommended not to miss this, especially for family trips with kids!
Pattaya Hilton Hotel Average price 1200-1900, an excellent location right in the heart of Pattaya Beach. The environment, service, landscape, hygiene, and soundproofing are all good! The Pattaya Hilton Hotel is located in the city center, with a rooftop garden and bar that offer amazing views overlooking Pattaya Beach and the bay. The hotel is situated above the Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex - the entire design is ocean-themed, using waves as a motif, and features installations that mimic the surging waves, beach, and underwater scenery, as well as themed family facilities. The intention is to connect the building, landscape, and sea, creating a paradise on earth - the completely renovated infinity pool at the Pattaya Hilton is even more beautiful, super suitable for family fun, and the convenience of being right in the city center is unbeatable!
Pattaya Grande Centre Point Space Hotel Average price 1000-1700, a new hotel that opened in August 2022, all aspects are very good! This is Thailand's first space-themed hotel - the Grande Centre Point Space Hotel Pattaya brings various space elements, from space shuttles to cosmic scenes, into the hotel. The rooftop pool has a futuristic tech vibe! The space-themed water park downstairs is divided into areas like Space Forest and Pirate Beach, and the park even includes mini-golf and a children's club themed around a spaceship. The best part is that all these services and facilities are free for guests! Especially when you step into the water park, you instantly feel like you're on the planet Pandora, where you can definitely have a blast with the kids!
Pattaya, Thailand, is a couple's vacation paradise – and I highly recommend these three hotels!
For those in Bangkok looking for a convenient and quick trip to the beach, Pattaya and Hua Hin are both excellent vacation destinations. Located to the east and west of Bangkok respectively, both can be reached with just a two-hour drive. As seaside resort cities, Pattaya's beaches are very public and accessible, allowing anyone to easily enjoy the beach, especially when taking a taxi or songthaew to Pattaya Beach Road. On the right, you'll see endless beaches and coconut trees, and on the left, countless bars, restaurants, and hotels. For couples traveling to Pattaya for a vacation, these are the three hotels I recommend the most:
👍 Highly recommended:
Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa Average price 800-1200 – Located about ten kilometers from the center of Pattaya, the Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa is perfect for a seaside vacation! The hotel's design incorporates the local fishing village charm and exudes artistry from the outside in. With the hotel facing the sea, the pool, ocean, and sky blend seamlessly under the blue sky and white clouds; and during sunset, the caramel-colored sunlight creates unforgettable beautiful scenes with the hotel's scenery. In the evening, you can dive into the hotel's stunning infinity pool. This Renaissance features a two-tiered infinity pool that is absolutely amazing! The seaside restaurant and bar are incredibly beautiful! Toasting with the sunset, watching the afterglow, is definitely the ideal vacation state!
👍 Highly recommended:
Andaz Pattaya Average price 1500-6000 – As a luxury lifestyle resort under the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and the first Andaz hotel in Thailand, Andaz Pattaya is located on a charming waterfront surrounded by mature tropical trees and tranquil gardens overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. The unique local style and modern design inspiration come from its history as a private estate. Upon arrival at the hotel, what catches the eye is the stunning tropical rainforest and the shimmering pools. The courtyard, centered around an awe-inspiring ancient tree, and the village square, which is courtyard-focused, is an open space for interaction and relaxation, easily blending into the serene atmosphere. But what I love most are the seaside pool and restaurant – they're incredibly beautiful!
👍 Highly recommended:
Pattaya Hilton Hotel Average price 1200-4000 – Located in the city center, the Pattaya Hilton Hotel boasts a rooftop garden and bar with amazing views overlooking Pattaya Beach and the bay. The hotel is situated atop the Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex. The entire design is ocean-themed, using waves as a motif, and features a series of installations that mimic the surge of waves, the beach, and underwater scenery. The intention of these scenic treatments is to connect the architecture, landscape, and sea, creating a paradise on earth. The newly renovated infinity pool at the Pattaya Hilton is even more beautiful! The view is unparalleled!

Trendy beach-view restaurant in Pattaya
Location : Glass house boho, Pattaya
Amazing venue as it is located next to the beach. However, the music is quite loud and the price is quite expensive. We ended up ordering some drinks (beer and mocktails) while we enjoyed the sunset of the day. Then we moved to other restaurant for dinner.
Overall, it’s worth to try.
