The EAST Block - Parliament Hill

Just beside the historic Rideau Canal, this building is a very good example of the High Victorian Gothic Revival Style. It was originally built to house the offices of the senators and the member of the parliament. Today, parts of the building are going under preservation. This building is one of the 2 buildings that survived mostly from the original construction. Not as famous as the Centre Block its design appeared on the face of the Journey Series design of the Canadian hundred-dollar bill. #tripblazers #urbanexplorer
