Pagodas abound! A secluded gem hidden deep in the mountains!!!

Over 800 years of history, the Ninghai secret spot! It harbors an unknown temple - ! , originally named Xiyou Hermitage, was founded during the Southern Song Dynasty. It is nestled in the deep mountains of Ninghai, built against the mountain. Standing among the pagodas, overlooking the vastness of the mountains and rivers, one feels as if they are in Tibet! Twenty or thirty years ago, due to its deep mountain location, inconvenient transportation, and lack of materials, the main wooden structure suffered decay. Restoration began in 2014. Currently, some buildings are still under construction, but this does not affect our appreciation of it~ Tour Strategy: Navigate to Ninghai Xiyou Temple Transportation: Self-driving, about an hour from Ningbo city center, the last two kilometers of the road are a bit bumpy and tough on tires! There is parking at the temple entrance.
