Half-Day Tour of Qingxiu Mountain in Nanning

Visiting Nanning, Qingxiu Mountain is a must-visit! The scenic area is very large, and even if you take the sightseeing bus to cover the whole area, it's still a leg-breaking pace. During the National Day holiday, plan to spend half a day at Qingxiu Mountain and go to Sanjie Liangxiang in the afternoon for some food and drinks. Therefore, enter from the north gate, without going to the east gate (where there is a large amusement park), focusing on enjoying the scenery and relaxing. Exit from the west gate, which is conveniently located near the subway to Sanjie Liangxiang. ⚠️Those with children can choose to visit selectively, as it is quite tiring. ⚠️There are many vending machines in the scenic area, with prices the same as outside, so there's no need to carry water into the park. ⚠️There are a lot of mosquitoes, so bring mosquito repellent. 1⃣️Entrance It is recommended to enter from the north gate of Qingxiu Mountain. 💰20 per person, purchasing tickets via the APP or scanning a code on-site is very convenient. 2⃣️First Stop: Orchid Garden The orchids ⭐️ come in many varieties, with different colors and shapes, all cleverly planted in the crevices of palm leaves and branches, worth a visit! 3⃣️Second Stop: Shade Plant Garden Next to the Orchid Garden, a 10-minute walk away is the popular photo spot - the Shade Plant Garden. Mist is sprayed every half hour for 3 minutes, making for very ethereal photos, but it's also very crowded. 4⃣️Third Stop: Dragon Elephant Pagoda Take the sightseeing bus 💰5 per person, about ⏰10 minutes to the Huan Shan Xiu Ping station. You can get off and go directly up the stairs, or take the gentler slope next to it, which is more comfortable. After getting off, there is a lotus pond, and not far away is Huan Shan Xiu Ping. Considering the physical effort required to climb the pagoda, we went to the Dragon Elephant Pagoda first, then rested at the lotus pond and lawn afterward. Climbing high for a panoramic view of the city offers a different experience of Nanning. 5⃣️Fourth Stop: Lotus Pond Descending from the Dragon Elephant Pagoda is the Lotus Pond, where you can feed the koi with a large bag of food for 10 yuan. Children love it, and it's also cool to sit under the gallery. There's also a popular photo spot - the lotus pond with ancient poetry. However, the lotus leaves are mostly withered now, though some water lilies are still green and make for beautiful photos. 6⃣️Fifth Stop: Huan Shan Xiu Ping The lawn is very open, with a small market selling fruits, balloons, etc., at the same prices as outside. There are peacocks and turkeys strolling on the lawn. 7⃣️Sixth Stop: Osmanthus Garden From Huan Shan Xiu Ping, we took the sightseeing bus to the Osmanthus Garden. Unfortunately, most of the lotus ponds have withered, and the giant water lilies are very small and it's very sunny. Families with children might want to skip this. We also didn't go to Taohua Island on the way, as there wasn't much to see at this time. We also skipped the Guanyin Temple and the ancient and modern photo spots, as the child was not interested. 8⃣️Exit This time we didn't take the sightseeing bus but a small train 💰10 per person, exiting from the west gate. 💜Metro Line 3 is right at the gate. We entered the park at 9:15 am and left at 2:30 pm, then headed to Sanjie Liangxiang for some food and drinks.
