Nanning Nanhu Park

Nanning Nanhu Park, located in the southeast of the downtown area in Qingxiu District, is a park that integrates water landscapes with subtropical garden scenery. Nanning Nanhu Park, with a lake area of over 930,000 square meters, is as clear as a mirror with rippling blue waves. Nanhu was originally Yongs Creek, which was connected to the Yong River. Whenever the Yong River flooded, the river water would back up into the creek, submerging a large amount of farmland and houses. The park contains tropical trees characteristic of the southern regions, such as palms, screw pines, and betel nut trees, as well as three 'gardens within the garden': a medicinal herb garden with more than 200 varieties of precious Chinese herbs, an orchid garden with valuable orchids such as summer orchids, gladiolus, ink orchids, and flame orchids, and a bonsai garden.
