A trip to Nagoya Castle

#japantrip The Nagoya Castle was built and constructed by the Owari domain in 1612. When the Tokugawa clan emerged victorious upon various upheavals in olden Japan, he ordered the reconstruction of the castle and in 1620, the Owari branch of the Tokugawa lineage resided, until the Meiji restoration where the royal family seized control and temporarily resided by the Imperial family, until 1930 where it was returned to the city government of Nagoya. The special feature that is available in the castle is the paintings and rural of various auspicious animals and faunas, and the treasury collection of various antiques. Restoration works are still ongoing and we will get to explore more of the treasuries in the future.
