Huangshi Village in Zhangjiajie

Huangshi Village is one of the five premium tour routes in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area; it is said that during the Han Dynasty, Zhang Liang, who had seen through the worldly life and resigned from his official position, followed the hermit Chisongzi, hid away from the world, and wandered around Zhangjiajie. Surrounded by soldiers, he was later rescued by his master, Huang Shigong, which is how the place got its name, Huangshi Village. It is the most concentrated area of beautiful scenery in Zhangjiajie and also the largest overhanging viewing platform in the area.
