Learn about Mayan culture in Mexico City

I found the best place to learn about Mayan culture and history to be at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. It is a huge museum that houses all kinds of artifacts from around Mexico detailing the life of the ancient Mayans. The building itself, however, is quite modern. You can see all kinds of objects such as sculptures, boats, masks, clothing and tools. Probably the most famous piece at the museum is the Mayan Calendar.
