Exploring the tranquility and harmony of the pristine countryside

The summer vacation has arrived, making it a perfect time to visit nearby homestays that are surrounded by mountains and water, offer good accommodation, delicious food, and are not too far for a self-drive trip. It's ideal for several families to stay together, eat, drink, and have fun. Location: Fulingwo Health Farm, Macheng Transportation: It takes about 2 hours to drive from Wuhan city, with 1.5 hours on the highway and the remaining half hour on the national road. There is also a short section of mountain road, which is easy to drive on. After all, the best mountains and waters are in the mountains, and the scenery along the way is superb. Accommodation: Our group of 7 families stayed in Courtyard No. 5, Lotus Courtyard, which has 7 bedrooms. The courtyard is in the shape of a quadrangle as shown in Picture 1, with a large living room with a simple open kitchen. The 7 rooms surround the living room without interfering with each other. The living room has a mahjong table, and the courtyard is very spacious with a fish tank. All three houses have eaves, so you can sit in the corridor and daze when it rains, which is very comfortable. The bedrooms are clean and tidy, fully equipped, and all have private bathrooms. Dining: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are charged separately. Breakfast costs 15 yuan per serving, and lunch and dinner are ordered separately. The farm has a large canteen, which is about a ten-minute walk from the accommodation courtyard. It's quite far, with uphill and downhill paths and winding roads, but it's convenient to drive. Although the dining area is far, separating the restaurant, entertainment, and accommodation is quite interesting. The prices are not expensive and quite reasonable. Breakfast is rich, and lunch and dinner are authentic local flavors and delicious. Surrounding Entertainment: It is considered a very large centralized homestay. Between the accommodation and the restaurant, many plots are divided for planting flowers and vegetables. There is a large flat area between the accommodation courtyards where children can play football, fly kites, and play music. Next to the restaurant, there are supporting entertainment facilities, including outdoor KTV equipment, bonfire parties, barbecue areas, fish feeding, and a water play area. Here, our ten or so children played wildly for two days, getting wet countless times. In summary, this place is very suitable for several families to spend a weekend or a short holiday together. You don't need to worry about the children as they have plenty to play with, and the adults can completely relax, occasionally enjoy parent-child activities, and eat directly when it's time.
