After returning from a budget trip to Mount Laojun, here's a warning for my fellow travelers

Mount Laojun Travel Warning: Retreat! Retreat! Retreat! Do not make the same mistakes I did on Mount Laojun. 1⃣ Always join a tour group, always!! It's the most cost-effective option, 130 yuan will take you directly to the cable car station. Taking a taxi will only get you to the main gate, and you'll still need to take the park shuttle, which costs 40 yuan for a round trip. 2⃣ Don't bring your own instant noodles, there's no hot water on the mountain. Buying hot water costs 5 yuan, and instant noodles on the mountain cost 12 yuan including hot water. 3⃣ Don't buy a wishing plaque at the beginning, they are more expensive at the base of the mountain, and really cheap at the summit. 4⃣ Use the restroom in advance! Avoid using the restrooms in the scenic area if not necessary, as they are really unhygienic. 5⃣ Don't stay at the mountain top, the accommodations are all dormitory-style with no private rooms, and they are expensive. 📍📍Tour Route Mount Laojun Ticket Checkpoint ➡ First Level Cable Car ➡ Zhongtian Gate ➡ Shili Hua Ping (Ten Mile Gallery) South Heaven Gate ➡ Golden Summit Taoist Temples Group ➡ Descend the Mountain 🎫Ticket: 100 yuan per person 🗺Scenic Area Opening Hours: All day ⚠ Mountain Climbing Reminder: ⚠ It's best to arrive at Mount Laojun before 3 pm, otherwise the uphill cable car will be closed and you can only hike up the mountain, which also leaves insufficient time for sightseeing. 💡Golden Summit Lighting Time: Around 18:30, the specific lighting time will be adjusted according to the season. ⚠ The first level cable car is a must for a one-day trip. If you don't take it, it will take 4 hours to climb to Zhongtian Gate, which is a huge waste of time and energy. The second level cable car is not recommended for those with good physical strength, as it only takes 1.5 hours to climb to Shili Hua Ping (Ten Mile Gallery) (It is recommended for the elderly and children to take the second level cable car as well). Finally, I suggest everyone choose a good weather day to visit, check the weather forecast in advance, and avoid going on rainy or overcast days, as there will be fog on the mountain and you won't be able to see the scenery.
