In the afternoon, take the No.3 bus 🚌, come to the north of Lijiang ancient city, and encounter the golden winter sun at Qingxi Reservoir. Standing on the reservoir dam, I was completely shocked by the scene in front of me. The blue lake water is like the sky, like a mirror; the plants around the lake are golden yellow, or green in yellow, red in yellow; when you reach the stone bridge in the lake, the white jade stone lions and railings also seem to be covered with a layer of golden gauze; further ahead are the lush willows, with their branches crisscrossed and their leaves golden... Everything is bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, shining brightly, indescribably wonderful, and as beautiful as a painting. Groups of wild ducks are swimming freely in the sparkling lake, so comfortable and at ease; the snow mountains in the distance, the village nearby, and the blue sky and white clouds reflected in the water, although all are common scenes, they are unusually beautiful here. I used to think that the bright colors in Russian landscape oil paintings were made up by the painter. Today, I unexpectedly bumped into the most beautiful autumn scenery. When I was wandering with the light and cloud shadows, the sunset gradually fell on the western mountains, and the orange light reflected everything red, just like the verse from Bai Juyi's 'Murmuring River at Dusk': 'A line of the setting sun spreads over the water, half of the river is rustling and half of the river is red'. The tranquility is as beautiful as a poem, intoxicating.
