Xujiashan National Forest Park is located on the north bank of the Yellow River in Lanzhou city, about 3 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 2800 acres. It is one of the nearest forest parks to the city in the country. I came here by car early in the morning, and I saw that the park is surrounded by mountains and rivers, the trees in the park are lush, the air is cool and fresh, the cultural landscape is rich, there are many memorial forests and monuments, which are quite characteristic of the northwest. It is said that the history of afforestation here began in 1942, which is the earliest place to carry out afforestation in barren mountains in China.
