Dream of Zhouzhuang

The sun is just right, the breeze is not dry, and I set off on a journey to Zhouzhuang with a longing for the ancient town. Along the way, the scenery outside the window is picturesque, and my mood becomes cheerful. Upon arriving in Zhouzhuang, it was already afternoon. Under the sunlight, the outline of the ancient town appeared even more quaint and charming. I strolled on the stone-paved roads, feeling the traces of the years under my feet. On both sides of the streets of Zhouzhuang, the simple residential houses are scattered in an orderly manner, with white walls and black tiles, and green trees providing shade, each place filled with the unique charm of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. I walked along the river, where the water is clear to the bottom, occasionally a few small boats passed by, rippling circles. The boatmen, wearing bamboo hats and humming tunes, were leisurely and content. The willow trees on the riverbank swayed gently, as if telling the stories of the ancient town. I entered a teahouse and ordered a pot of Biluochun tea. The fragrance of the tea was overflowing, refreshing the heart and spleen. I sipped the tea gently, enjoying the scenery outside the window, feeling the tranquility and serenity of the ancient town. Here, time seemed to slow down, making people forget the hustle and bustle of the world. In the evening, I climbed onto a small bridge and looked out at the distant sunset. The afterglow of the sunset sprinkled on the ancient town, turning everything into golden yellow. The surface of the river was sparkling, as if golden fragments were twinkling. I closed my eyes, listening to the breathing of the ancient town, feeling this peace and beauty. As night fell, the night view of Zhouzhuang had a different flavor. The lights of the ancient town gradually lit up, reflecting the entire town as if it were a dream. I wandered in the night, feeling the charm and style of the ancient town. Every place was filled with poetry and romance, making people linger and forget to return. This trip to Zhouzhuang made me feel the unique charm of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. The tranquility, serenity, and beauty of the ancient town made me forget the worries and noise of the world. I will treasure this beauty in my heart, looking forward to the next trip.
