Victoria Peak

#meethongkong If you are visitng Hong Kong, Victoria Peak should be on your top list visit. This is still the most expensive area I guess in Hong Kong and you can not only visit this tourist attraction but also have some pretty good food at local restaurants. Victoria Peak is the highest point on the island at 552 meters above sea level. From the top of this mountain you can enjoy a magnificent view of Hong Kong, its skyscrapers, the Kowloon waterfront, and the mountains visible in the distance of the island. Named after Queen Victoria. However, the other name of the hill is also known as Mount Austin. Back in the days of British rule, Victoria Peak was the area where the homes of the upper class were located. The Chinese were forbidden to settle in such an elite area. To this day, the Peak is considered the most prestigious place in the entire city. #mytripvlog #境外遊 #throwback
