Experience Lego like you never been
Located at Singapore Science Center, the Brickman Wonders Of The World exhibition is a breathtaking exhibition you have never seen before. Its was available for about 3 months from 25 March to 3 July. You get to see how the various Lego builders come up with creations relating to the wonders of the world. While looking at the masterpiece, do take note of how much details goes into each piece such as the individual characters that are added into the venue. There were also descriptions of the Lego builders and what are the inspirations that goes into the individual pieces.
For people who are interested to build one of their own, there are also a few stations dedicated to allow the public to add on to the existing pieces to create a unique city of our own. Another activity worth mentioning is that you can count the number of times a particular character appeared in all the masterpiece to stand to win exclusive merchandises. So it's definitely a great place to come for all ages!

you will never get bored visiting the Flower Dome at Gardens by the bay. they always update the flower theme (almost) every quarter and thus, you will be able to see different set up for each visit.
#throwback to the visit I had which featured the Sakura- theme. it was interesting to to imagine and pretend that we were in Japan during the season to view the Sakura.
really love the effort put in by the orangiser to bring in interesting theme to make the flower dome an regular hangout place for us.

Standard Balcony King
The bed is super comfortable! However the sockets in the room are lose and is hard to charge your phone.
Unstable water temperature in Thailand is normal, but I really don't like unstable water temperature. The faucet is very loose, and if the water is too heavy, it will fall and it may hit you.
The breakfast is on the second floor. There are basically egg dishes. oat milk is a plus.
Swimming pool opens 07:00 to 21:00. Gym is 24 hours access
The infinity pool is located on the 24th floor. The pool is not big. There are only a few suntanning beds. You can order drinks to the pool!
The location is not bad, about five minutes walk to Phloen Chit BTS

Holiday Inn Bangkok
#bangkok
The hotel is located in the bustling city center, within walking distance to BTS. The transportation is convenient. Just across the road is the largest shopping mall, Central Word, and Big C. On the other side, across the road is the famous Erawan Buddha. There is also a Michelin-starred Thai restaurant Paste in the department store next to it, whether it is shopping or transportation is very convenient
When Diamond Ambassador members check in, the front desk said that they can usually provide an upgrade to a higher level, but this room can no longer be upgraded, so they provide daily executive lounge as compensation. Members can choose breakfast, but the lounge already includes breakfast. The front desk directly helped me choose points, and the membership treatment is super generous! If you bring two children to the hotel, you will get an extra bed for free, and there is no additional charge for the executive lounge or breakfast
The room is big enough to run and play ball in. The living room and dining table area are oversized. There is also a small space with a refrigerator and microwave oven. There is room for another single bed in the room. The luggage room and bathroom are missing from the photo, but the space is very large, with a bathtub, double sinks, and two toilets
I thought that the executive lounge of Holiday Inn should be very simple, but I didn’t expect that during the HH period, there will be a lot of hot Thai food, staple food and sushi, as well as red and white wine, beer and spirits, and the taste of the food is also very good. I found that these hot foods are all street foods, such as satay skewers, chicken wings, fried shrimp, etc.. you can eat them for free in the executive lounge!
The lounge space is not small and there are not many guests, most of them are Westerners. The breakfast and HH are very quiet, and there is no need to go to the main restaurant on the first floor to queue up.

Ubuya - Hotel room

It is not far from Kawaguchiko Station, and the hotel has shuttle buses to pick up and drop off guests regularly
Koshan Pavilion belongs to the pure Japanese hot spring hotel style, and the interior uses a lot of warm wood color. But after all, it is an old hotel, and some facilities are not so advanced. In addition, the scope of the hotel is relatively narrow, and it cannot have a large number of facilities of a new hotel. But come here to enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese restaurant, enough! The most important thing is that the roommates have an invincible view of the public bath, outdoor bath, and enjoy the view of millions of Mount Fuji!
The attitude of the service staff is very good, with a smile. The most admirable thing is that the four meals during the stay were all arranged in the same box for the 6 of us, so we didn't have to line up at the door of the restaurant like other restaurants to wait for a seat. One of our friends, even though it was his birthday the day before check-in, the service staff still dressed us up to celebrate our birthday during the dinner, and gave us a bottle of local wine as a gift, full of warmth!

Not only does the Venetian Macau has hotel rooms, it houses a big shopping mall in it! You can easily spend half a day or a day here to explore its stores, facilities, dining and etc! Some for the famous egg tarts and famous Hong Kong pastries brand are also available in Venetian Macau!
Just by looking at interior design of the Venetian Macau, it just makes you feel like you are in Venice!

It's a great accommodation experience, and it really lives up to its reputation. Will definitely visit again and recommend everyone!
After checking in, you will get a coupon for a welcome drink. One glass of red wine, white wine or sparkling wine, non-alcoholic beverage options are available too!
You can take it back to the room and drink while watching the scenery on the balcony or can also enjoy at the restaurant on the first floor.
There is a very rich self-service bar and snacks with wine. The restaurant also thoughtfully prepared a variety of bartending recipes. You can also adjust the drink to your own liking.
You can enjoy drinking and chat with friend or partner until late at night, you don’t need to find supper and drink on your own, the hotel for you covered!

Cheung Heung Yuen Restaurant 祥香茶餐廳
#meethongkong
What comes into your mind when you are travelling to Hong Kong? For us, it would be Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng!
There are many Cha Chaan Teng in Hong Kong and we went to a few.
Most common food items on their menu selling in Cha Chaan Teng are their Polo Bun with butter, Maggie mee with luncheon meat, macaroni with ham and etc.
And we will always order their ice Hong Kong Milk Tea. One of our favourite drink, as it is super Gao (thick)!
We would recommend this Cha Chaan Teng: Cheung Heung Yuen Restaurant. It is the usual traditional Hong Kong style and nostalgic tea restaurant with a great variety of food items available on their menu.
Do drop by this Cha Chaan Teng in Hong Kong and try out their food!

Tian Tan Buddha Hong Kong
#meethongkong
An amazing location of pure serenity. There are a number of ways to reach this incredible location, bus, taxi, but best of all the glass bottom cable car, which begins its journey from Tung Chung, Lantau Island. It pays to go early because there can be huge queues for cable car, especially on a Tuesday, but the wait is well worth it.
The view from the cable is amazing as you go over the bays at up to 300 ft, after which you go between the mountains, then as if he jumped out of the mountains, the Buddha appears as if by magic. Upon reaching the venue, you will find there is plenty to do and see.
There are many restaurants and food outlets, along with drinks a plenty (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). As you walk through the impressive gateway to the main site, you will see highly cleansed cows wandering freely around, plus many Buddhist Monks who are quite happy to have a photograph taken with you.
Then comes the 260 steps up to the main attraction, The Big Buddha, the daunting bronze figure seems to come alive as you get nearer, as though beckoning you, makes you very different inside, quite unexplainable. When you reach the top you can walk around the Buddha, you can also go inside, within the Buddha.
Please kindly observe that NO PHOTOGRAPHY IS ALLOWED INSIDE HERE, as it is sacred, PLEASE RESPECT THIS. If ever you go to Hong Kong, the Big Buddha is an absolute must.
Highly recommended.

Avenue Of Stars Hong Kong
#meethongkong
The Avenue of the Stars promenade was re- vamped a couple years ago and is now a beautiful, open pedestrian space that runs alongside the Victoria Harbour. Stepping off the Star Ferry, you can follow the promenade right along the waterfront, with fabulous million-dollar views across to Hong Kong island.
The main attraction is the view but they have also created a Hollywood-style Walk of Fame feature with bronze handprints on the railings instead of stars on the ground. Over 100 Hong Kong celebrities and actors, including Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians) and Chow Yun-fat, have made their mark here. Not many will be recognisable to overseas visitors but they are household names in Hong Kong. If you're curious to know who's who, each plaque has a QR code so you can scan it for more information.
Of the four bronze sculptures, the most famous is Bruce Lee - recognisable to everyone, surely. Standing on an elevated water feature, he strikes his classic martial arts pose. It fits in nicely with Bruce's famous quote, "Be water my friend. Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water" The other statues are Cantopop diva Anita Mui, the cartoon pig McDull and a female figure representing the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Hong Kong Observation Wheel

Throwback to my last trip to Hong Kong
Located at the iconic Central Harbourfront, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel offers spectacular day and night views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline and much more. With just a quick stroll from the Central/Hong Kong MTR Station and Central Ferry Piers, you will not only be greeted by our Ferris wheel, but also an open lawn, yummy snacks and free healthy initiatives at our wellness-themed park: AIA Vitality Park. The AIA Vitality Park hosts a variety of classes and events including fitness classes, yoga, kickboxing, swing dancing and even Capoeira. We will continue to introduce new elements to this iconic landmark including a Classic Carousel which is now open to public.
Its a great place to spend some quality time especially in the evening. The food court and the attractions are great. Best to visit with family and friends.

Throwback to before Covid hits the world
Milk Tea is the Real Deal
This is basically an older Hong Kong style cafe and for comparison it’d be like an American diner. So you have to come in with reasonable expectations. It’s by no means fine dining or the prettiest of places but you will get the experience of a legitimate Hong Kong cafe style meal.
The Milk Tea is reason enough to come here. The gentlemen in the sleeveless shirt takes his job seriously and puts out a delicious cup of tea. You can get it hot or cold and I generally enjoy the cold one as it’s a nice refreshment on a warm day. Coming here for the first time though I opted for the original hot milk tea. Add sugar to suit your own personal taste. I’m not affected by caffeine so I can’t comment on the strength of the tea but the “tea taste” is strong. Milk teas that I have had at other shops have sometimes tasted watered down. That is not the case here.
I found the servers friendly and they chatted with us in Cantonese. Some of them have their quirks and may come off as rude but Cantonese can sometimes sound like an angry language. But this adds to the genuine HK cafe experience and not unlike some of the interesting characters that reside at any diner.

Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock
#meethongkong
The Canton Railway Clock Tower is a Declared monument and historic landmark building next to the Star Ferry terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST).
What you will see is a 44 metre tall tower made of red brick and granite. Each side has a clock face, the tower is caped by a small dome and a 7 metre tall lightening rod. Originally built between 1913-15, the clock tower is an important reminder of Hong Kong's colonial past.
It stands proudly on its own next to the harbour these days. In the past, it was part of the old Kowloon-Canton Railway Terminus that has long been demolished. At one time, the clock tower dominated the Kowloon skyline, now it is simply a link to the past and a historic landmark for all of us to enjoy when spending time in TST along Victoria Harbour.

Victoria Peak
#meethongkong
If you are visitng Hong Kong, Victoria Peak should be on your top list visit.
This is still the most expensive area I guess in Hong Kong and you can not only visit this tourist attraction but also have some pretty good food at local restaurants.
Victoria Peak is the highest point on the island at 552 meters above sea level. From the top of this mountain you can enjoy a magnificent view of Hong Kong, its skyscrapers, the Kowloon waterfront, and the mountains visible in the distance of the island.
Named after Queen Victoria. However, the other name of the hill is also known as Mount Austin. Back in the days of British rule, Victoria Peak was the area where the homes of the upper class were located. The Chinese were forbidden to settle in such an elite area. To this day, the Peak is considered the most prestigious place in the entire city.

Victoria Harbour Hong Kong
#meethongkong
Victoria Harbour is not just a harbor, it is an attraction that cannot be missed. Hong Kong has developed from the former small fishing village to today's "Asia's world city". This natural deep-water haven has contributed.
Today, the endless stream of cargo ships, sailboats, rafts and luxury cruise ships in Victoria Harbour, together with the skyscrapers of the row, create a unique sea landscape.
To experience the different beauty of Victoria Harbour, you can try a cruise on the sightseeing boat or watch the night view on the observation deck on both sides of the Victoria Harbour.
After all it is one of the most iconic and beautiful bay in the world. I still recall watching James Bond as a kid as he entered the hull of the sunken ship in the bay. there is just something mysterious about HongKong that will always make it a magical place.

Ocean Park is a must-visit place in Hong Kong where one can find this as a mix between a theme park and a zoo. Here you can find lots of fun rides including their adrenaline-rushing Hair Raiser roller coaster ride.
You can also get to experience a closer look to one of the cutest animals in the world, the Giant Panda. Two of their pandas are named Ying Ying and Le Le.
Of course they are named as Ocean Park because of their grandest The Grand Aquarium. With lots of sea creatures ranging from tiny seahorses to colossal giant mantas and hammerhead sharks.
We got here by taking the MTR via South Island Line and get off directly at the Ocean Park station.

Visited the park in 2019, pre-Covid and had a blast.
The queues weren't too bad, as we found out we picked quite a good day for our visit and we were able to enjoy almost all of the attractions we were interested in. Even on a not so busy day, some of the attractions were a bit busy and we were thinking that a fast pass would have been a good idea. but then again, the concept of fast passes is a bit of a wallet burning idea.
TRON ride is a unique experience that was something else and we really enjoyed Star Wars hall - the 2 meters high Lord Vader was stealing the show. The Pirates of the Caribbean are also a must, as the visual effects are incredible!
My partner and I have been to a few amusement parks and this was one of the better ones - however, you should come prepared, as the prices inside are quite high and English translations are not present everywhere.

Over here, you get to experience the attraction rides, visiting aquariums and watching animals! Most of the rides are family-friendly.
The penguins are really cute! You can watch the penguins over at the South Pole Spectacular.
Overall, Ocean Park Hong Kong is a great theme park to visit while you’re in Hong Kong!

Mandarin Oriental Shanghai - Club lounge
#meetshanghai
Throwback to 2019 before Covid hits
We checked-in at the lounge, having been offered refreshments while we waited, and were told that one of our two rooms had been upgraded to a corner suite. It was huge! Essentially, it was like a small apartment and the views across the river and of the Pearl Tower were stunning. The second room was also wonderful, with a fabulous view and a great circular bath! Both rooms were well- appointed and in excellent condition. I can't fault them.
The time allocations for food and drink in the lounge are very good - in that brunch was served until 1pm, followed shortly by afternoon tea - alcohol was available at this time too. The lounge was large with a clear designation of dining tables and then a lounge area with sofas and coffee tables. Again, the lounge staff were outstanding in their service and friendly approach.

We had a wonderful time spent at Victoria Harbour!
We visited Victoria Harbour during the evening time to catch the sunset.
The views you get here at the harbour during the day and the night are totally different! At night here, you will get to see tall buildings with lights.
The views here are truly amazing and stunning. No words could express how beautiful the views are until you visit Victoria Harbour yourself!
It gets even colder during the night. We went over to Starbucks to buy a hot chocolate to warm ourselves while enjoying the scenery.
Victoria Harbour is one of the most beautiful pleases to visit in Hong Kong. It is about 10 mins walk from Tsim Sha Tsui Station.

The room is about 18 pings, which is super spacious and comfortable the view of the room facing the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl Tower is super beautiful.
There is a large round bathtub for soaking and watching TV. The biggest advantage of the executive room is that you can enjoy the executive lounge. Eat simple lunch, afternoon tea, cocktail dinner and breakfast in the executive lounge.

Throw back to our Hong Kong trip before covid!
The Peak Hong Kong is a must-visit attraction when you are in Hong Kong!
In order to reach to the Peak, we took their transportation which is the Peak Tram. The tram ride was smooth, stable and the tram moves quite slowly. You get to see some scenery along the way, but the best scenery view is still at the Victoria Peak which is the highest point!
Once you get to the highest point, the views you get to see are breathtaking! We get to see the spectacular view of Hong Kong skyline and waterfront views. The Victoria Peak is located at 552 meters above the sea level.
This is something one may have to consider if you are afraid of heights.
When we get up to the peak, it is already night time and the night view is extremely beautiful! No regrets!

However, still a must-to-go-place!

The RuMa Hotel and Residence
#meetkualalumpur
The RuMa Hotel and Residences is an exquisite experience that is truly worthy. It is located a stone's throw away from the beating heart of KL and the wonderful attractions and malls of Bukit Bintang.
In the lobby you'll find the gin bar and the Librari eatery which offer an extensive range of gin-based drinks and local Malaysian delicacies. The Char Kuey Teow, Curry Laksa with lobster tail and fried calamari prepared by the team was bursting with flavour. Despite a very minor hiccup with one of dishes, the team immediately rectified the situation and further exceeded our expectation with a personal apology from the chef, which included a complementary High Tea (and bottle of white wine) for our my partner and I, including a specially prepared cake tower,It is rare these days for service to exceed expectation and is truly exceptionally when the team go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable experience.
RuMa should be the very top of your list of stays on KL. Forget the large chains. Stay here, unwind and be treated to an unforgettable experience.

Fairmont Peace Hotel - Lobby

The historical status of the Peace Hotel is unquestionable.
When you come to Shanghai, you will choose the Fairmont Peace Hotel. Of course, what you want is the feeling of dignity. Just entering the lobby on the first floor, the momentum is shocking, polished to the reflective marble floor, coupled with the light-transmitting octagonal skylight.
With a museum-like aura, one can imagine that those who were able to enter and leave this place were absolutely honorable and expensive! In addition to the visual shock, of course it also has a tender side. The faint aroma in the air is to provide guests with olfactory comfort, which is now more and more high-end hotels attach great importance to it.

Throwback to 2021 solo trip to HK!
I don't know if there is anyone like me who travels alone for some quality alone time? It is really troublesome to book a room. It always feels wasteful to book a double room for one person, and I feel a little awkward when booking a backpacker hotel.
I am used to the standard Queen/King size hotels, so I would like to share a Hong Kong accommodation option suitable for solo travel! this hotel is located in Tsim Sha Tsui District, and there are single rooms available, which is great for a lone traveler like me! The lovely single bed is perfect for traveling alone. Although the room is small, the configuration is surprisingly complete.
The use of space is very tight. It is just right for me who is traveling alone. When I opened the small wardrobe, there was only one hanger. Hahaha, but the water heater, teacups, and slippers are also prepared. It can be said that all the basic needs of accommodation are taken care of.
The space is not big, but it is just right and comfortable, and all the items are complete and clean. Go out from the hotel and turn left, Knutsford Terrace in front of you is the bar street, it is very lively at night, it is very convenient and safe if you want to get a little drunk, you can walk back to the hotel. There is a 24-hour supermarket not far from Kimberley Road, and the living functions are quite good, but there is a small slope to climb when returning, which may be a little inconvenient for tourists with heavy luggage.

Bellagio Shanghai

Bellagio is the second Bellagio brand hotel in the world after Las Vegas in the United States! Settled on the banks of the Suzhou River in Shanghai, experience it when it opens in 2018.
As soon as you enter the hotel and pass the lobby, you can clearly feel the luxurious atmosphere. The crystal chandeliers from the Czech Republic, marble materials, glass, and metals imported from Italy are designed exactly like the layout of a luxury brand store.
All objects are presented with high quality, from lamps, carpets, sofas all exude a sense of luxury. The most exaggerated thing is that many walls in the hotel are actually wrapped in leather! Add studs to close the edges. It doesn't feel like a hotel, but like a Hermès flagship store.
The gym and swimming pool on the third floor are too exaggerated, and it’s really enjoyable to be able to enjoy the view of the Suzhou River directly! The rooms start from 60 square meters, so the room is spacious and comfortable. The interior design combines modern and classic, and the bathroom accessories are organic products from Australia.
