The famous shrine that is very popular amongst tourists is well worth the sight. Beautiful in person with an amazing backdrop and some colourful history. Viewable from outside of the temple area but only on the edges I spent more time taking pictures with the deer than I did with the torii gates. You will get better pictures, standing much closer to tori during low tide.
