A tower full of love story 🗼❤️

#freehotelstay Leifeng Pagoda is a 5 storey tall tower that located on the south bank of the Westlake in Hangzhou. Originally, it was built in AD 975 using brick and wood to celebrate the birth of a king’s son and once been named as Huangfei Pagoda (named after the concubine of the King). After it collapsed in the year of 1924, it was then rebuilt in a modern way where there is a elevator to go to the tower and a lift to go up to the top to ease the tourists who visit here. In fact, the tower is so famous because of a love story. A white snake turns into a young woman after thousand years of cultivating, met a young man, Xu Xian in Hangzhou and eventually fell in love with each other. A monk with magic power called Fa Hai then imprisoned the white snake under the Pagoda until she rescued by her son after many years. Visiting to the inner tower, the entrance fee is quite expensive costs at RMB 40 per person. Personally, nothing special inside the tower for me but at the top of it, you will be able to enjoy the scenic west lake view. Worth it or not, it varies for everyone but i prefer to take the picture of the tower from a far distance. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟
