Hami Devil City

Hami Devil City, also known as Wubao Devil City, is located in Wubao Township, Hami City, about 90 kilometers away from the city. It is a geomorphological feature formed by wind erosion. Its terrain starts from the camel peak of the smokestack, passes through the Yaman iron mine, the Da Nan Lake coal mine, and extends to the thirteen rooms of the Wubao Shar Lake, with a total length of about 400 kilometers and a width of about 5-10 kilometers. In addition, there are also ancient castle buildings and ancient residential sites in Hami Devil City - Aisikexiaer ancient castle. The castle is located on a wind erosion platform about 6 meters above the ground. It is a rectangular rammed earth building about 5 meters high, with doors and windows in front, which is a post station on the ancient Silk Road or the southwest outpost of the Hami dynasty.
