In full bloom - Guangzhou's 800-year-old ancient village is stunningly beautiful

Hidden within the 800-year-old ancient village, the phoenix flowers are blooming in Baiyun District's Longgui Nan Village, a low-key and lesser-known hamlet, 🏯 which surprisingly houses an incredibly beautiful ancestral hall, complementing the phoenix flowers of May, and it's truly breathtaking 😭. ☝🏻 Everyone heads for the Zhou Family Ancestral Hall, but I must say, the tranquil and simple village is also worth a leisurely stroll. 🔹 Zhou Family Ancestral Hall The phoenix trees are inside the hall, but because the trees are very tall, they reach out of the building, creating a special effect. 🤓 To capture an aerial view, there is a residential building 30 meters away from the hall where you can climb up to take photos 📸. The photo studio next to the hall also allows you to go upstairs for pictures. The front of the hall is usually crowded, so it's good for close-up portraits. Can you enter the ancestral hall⁉️ It's closed today, Monday, and when I asked the villagers, they said it occasionally opens, but the timing is uncertain. 🤫 But I must say, the decoration of this hall is very grand, just like a garden. Whether you can enter or not is up to fate, ✌🏻 but I think it's also nice to take photos from outside. 🔹 Longpan Ancient Tree On the way into the village, there is a towering tree 🌳, lush and massive, quite impressive from a distance! A 200+ year-old tree that several people can't wrap their arms around, definitely worth a visit. 🍃 The old houses and alleys under the tree have a special charm. Nan Village is not a tourist attraction, it's a real village, so there aren't many restaurants or shops in the village. Near the big tree, there is a local coffee shop ☕ where you can sit for afternoon tea. You can also park at the entrance of the hall 🅿️, parking is very cheap. Metro 🚇 Longgui Station B2, walk 1km, it's quite far.
