The Baizhang Greenway hiking trail in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, takes you through an enchanting forest

This lesser-known hiking trail is probably only known to 10% of people, located in Xiaolou Town, Zengcheng, Guangzhou. Here, there are clusters of ancient Wuzhou olive trees of various sizes🌲🌳🌴, with about 1000 trees planted in terraced formations. The ancient tree park covers hundreds of acres, with fresh air and lush greenery that displays vigorous vitality, making it very suitable for a refreshing hike and oxygen intake. 【Hiking tips】 ▪️From the entrance to the middle section, there are stair trails, and beyond the middle section, the path becomes a wild climb, with a slight increase in difficulty. ▪️After passing a small bridge, keep to the left for a relatively easier ascent to the top; the path is covered with mossy stones, so be sure to prevent slipping. ▪️It is not recommended to hike on rainy days, as the trails are wet and slippery with no shelter, and there are more mosquitoes. There is no security in the park, so it's best to leave before dark. ▪️It takes about 40min from the entrance to the summit, there are no restrooms or kiosks in the park, so you need to bring your own food. Picnicking and camping are more suitable below the middle section. 【Transportation tips】 🔸Self-driving: Navigate to Dengshan Guanxing Town Ancient Olive Garden, do not navigate to 'Ancient Olive Garden' only, as it will lead to the Er Long Mountain toll entrance. It takes about 1h from downtown Guangzhou, and there is a free parking lot 200 meters from the ancient garden, with restrooms. 🔸Bus: Take Zengcheng Route 19 to Dengshan Village Station and walk for 10 minutes.
