🌅【Koktokay】means "Blue River Bay" in Mongolian and "Green Jungle" in Kazakh. Although there is no sea as one might imagine, the blue and green have already created the stunning beauty of Koktokay. The scenic area boasts a rich variety of landscapes, where beautiful views coexist with mineral deposits, as early as the 1960s, it was an incredibly mysterious place in Xinjiang. Today, I will introduce how to play in Koktokay, and those who are planning to go must keep this guide well. 1️⃣ Koktokay National Mine Park Scenic Area (the first scenic spot after entering Koktokay) 4A level scenic spot 🚗Route: Scenic Area Gate - No. 3 Vein (Meritorious Mine, rare metal deposits) - Shuttle bus ride - Aygosi Mine Cave (a mine cave in the mountain with a guide's explanation) - Guanhai Platform (where you can take a panoramic view of Koktokay, but you need to climb the mountain) - Shuttle bus return trip 💰Cost: Ticket 80 (includes round-trip shuttle bus and explanation) ⏰Playing time: 1-2 hours 🎫Ticket sales time 09:30-18:30 The shuttle bus will take the last batch of visitors back from the mine cave 💌Tips: The temperature inside Aygosi Mine Cave is quite low, so be sure to bring a coat. Stand at the entrance of the mine cave before entering, and if you really can't stand it, rent a military coat next to the mine cave, which costs 20 yuan per piece. Also, drones can be flown inside the scenic area, but do not fly the drone under the mine pit, as it is easy to crash. 2️⃣ Koktokay National Geological Park (Irtysh Grand Canyon) 5A level scenic spot 🚗Regular route: Scenic Area Gate - Birch Forest (the shuttle bus usually does not stop on the way there, but can stop on the way back) - Tourmaline Bay - Gem Ditch Entrance - Couple Trees - Border Checkpoint - Stone Gate - Divine Bell Mountain 🚗In-depth tour route: Continue further on the basis of the regular route, Divine Bell Mountain parking lot - Waterfall Gully - Python Emerging from the Sea - Little Bell Mountain - Elephant Trunk Peak, Eagle Peak, Camel Peak - Hot Springs, etc., with high touristic value. 💰Cost: Ticket 90 + Shuttle bus 26 (round trip) 🚙Driving time: About 30-45 minutes one way ⏰Playing time: About 3-4 hours to Divine Bell Mountain only, about 5-6 hours for an in-depth tour to the waterfall hot springs, etc. The last shuttle bus returns at 19:00 💌Tips: The in-depth tour route is about 7 kilometers in total. There is no shuttle bus from Divine Bell Mountain parking lot to Waterfall Gully, and you need to walk 1.5 kilometers. After reaching Waterfall Gully, there is a shuttle bus ticket center where you can buy a tour bus ticket for 10 yuan per person round trip. It is recommended to prepare some cash, as mobile phone signals are not good here. ‼️Special attention: Koktokay is very close to the border, and the last waterfall is only 100 kilometers from Menggu.
