Saku Café

#japantrip Saku Café is a hidden gem! We stayed there for about a week and everything was perfect. The building itself is beautiful and inviting, an old house remodeled by LEMS-san himself and turned into a mix of guest rooms and café. It's only a 5 minute walk from Hitachi-Daigo station (though if you are carrying suitcases you may want to get a taxi, as it's uphill and not fully paved), and well-positioned if you're looking to bike or drive to various Daigo highlights like Fukuroda falls, Tsukimachi falls (have nagashi somen there while you're at it!), and various onsens.The room was big, clean and comfortable. The toilet and bathroom are shared with one more room but lucky for us it was not taken. The cafe itself is open to guests and outsiders until 10pm, so you can grab some dinner and cocktails and enjoy the peaceful Daigo night from the patio!overall awesome
