Eling Second Factory Cultural and Creative Park: A rising trendsetting landmark in Chongqing and Chengdu

Eling Second Factory Cultural and Creative Park is located at the commanding height of the Yuzhong Peninsula, offering views of both the Yangtze River and the Jialing River. We originally planned to take a stroll in Eling Park, but since we were already there, we decided to check in anyway. Walking into the Second Factory Cultural and Creative Park, a strong industrial vibe hits you. A friend from Chongqing told me that this place used to be the Central Bank's banknote printing factory established in 1937, which later became Chongqing Printing Factory No. 2, once the center of color printing in Chongqing and a printing industry giant in the Southwest. As kids, they felt proud to work at Printing Factory No. 2, where they could enjoy the view of the two rivers every day. Now, the enterprise no longer exists, leaving nothing but a sigh. However, the remaining factory buildings have been repurposed into a cultural and tourism project. Together with Eling Park and Liziba light rail station, it has become a new trendsetting landmark in Chongqing and Chengdu, attracting an increasing number of visitors. Indeed, every corner here is perfect for taking photos, whether it's the industrial style of the factory buildings, the leisurely and lazy vibe of the various shops, or just for travel check-in photos. It's all great, but it's best to avoid the harsh midday sun.
