Shiluo Ancient Village, Chengmai, Hainan.

Shiluo Village was established during the Tang Dynasty and is the place where Feng Bao of Nanliang and Lady Xian landed in Qiongzhou. It is also the place where Lady Xian stayed, and is known as the "First Village of the Feng Family in Hainan". The village has more than 230 ancient volcanic rock houses, most of which were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The layout of the courtyards in the village is unified and varied. The layout of the courtyards is centered on the main house, forming an independent courtyard layout, and is complemented by east and west side rooms. The main traditional buildings in the village are mostly made of wood and stone, and the roofs of the buildings are mostly in the hard mountain style. There are 15 stone slab roads paved with volcanic rocks in the village, forming a unique comb-shaped road network. Shiluo Village has been preserved from the Tang Dynasty to the present day through thousands of years of succession, and has preserved a large amount of historical information on the selection of ancient villages, the construction of volcanic rock buildings, the structure of settlements, and architectural carvings. The remains of the Feng Clan Ancestral Hall in the village are the most important source of Lady Xian culture and a model of Hainan residential architecture. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hainan Province and the third batch of traditional villages in China.
