The visit to UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan

#travelanywhere In Busan, there is a cemetery where the remains of the fallen soldiers who defended South Korea during the Korean War which happened between 1950-1953 was buried. There are 2182 souls laid to rest here. When you first entered the Park you reached the main grave and the main square where flag poles of countries who participated were erected. There are also many monuments such as the Turkish Monument, Greek Monument, Australian and United Kingdom monument erected there to commemorate those who gave up their life in defense of the republic. There is also the wall of honour where they erected the names of all the known fallen soldiers. The Daunt Waterway, erected in commemoration of JP Daunt, the youngest fallen soldier at the age of 17.
